Mullvad Browser tries to make you look exactly like every other user, an odd goal for software and a useful one for privacy. It comes from the Mullvad VPN company and the Tor Project, and it uses Tor Browser's methods for making every user look alike without sending traffic through the Tor network. That makes it faster, and it works with any VPN.
Mullvad Browser scores a 5 on lock-in, a 4 on footprint, self-direction and power and a 3 on longevity and delivery.
A company that sells a VPN makes it, and we have not checked how long it will be supported.
- Makes your browser look like everyone else's
- Made with the Tor Project by a VPN company
- Faster than Tor since it skips the Tor network
